100 grain corelockts. Used 90 grain ballistic tips this year, too much damage, not enough penetration. I use 70grain ballistic tips for varmint hunting as theyshoot sub moa groups out of my Tikka T3 light .243.

i made a lot of one shot kills on whitetails with Hornady 100 gr. Interlock bullets pushed by 40.5 gr of IMR4350 powder. Most were 'dead right there'.

Is that a factory load or hand load?

The best shooting, quickest deer dropping .243/6mm bullet I've loaded is the Sierra 85 ge bthp Gameking sitting atop a healthy charge of IMR 4064 with cci br2 primers.

Not sure I have a favorite, but I have had very good success with Hornady 100gr BT's. Next year I will be trying a 69gr handload recommended by a friend from Montana. He said he has used it over the years on quite a few deer with excellent results.
