You have your own piece of land with a lotsign of whitetail. Do you open the land to the public to hunt or do you close it off and hunt on it on your own with yoour close buddies?

RE: Open land to public???
Ko has a very valid question if you live in a state like MA.
In MA it is the landowners responsibility to post the land in question every 75ft if he does not want you hunting on it. UNPOSTED land is open to all!!If you see a piece of land you want to hunt you have every right to do so IF it is not posted. We have to be the only state that does it backazzword like that.
That being said I NEVER hunt on land I am not invited on to.It feels very uncomfortable and not worth it to sit in a stand thinking I am not welcome.

RE: Open land to public???
I haven't deer hunted my land in several years. It is pretty much open access to any of my friends or neighbors, some of whom do not even need to ask.But blanket public access, no.
