Anybody else besides me like to put a pinch in, in the stand?

I know alot of people who are against it, but its never hurt me. I've seen them with one in, and i've killed with one in. Besides, the smell of wintergreen won't bother them, will it?
A fella I knowbowkilled a gigantic buck that almost broke the state record with a pinch in.

I have a cousin who dips and says it doesn'taffect his hunting at all. Iwalked tohis stand 2 days after he did, and I could smell the dip/spit near his stand before I ever climbed up in it. If i can smell it around the stand before i ever climb into it, you can be certain the deer can smell it a long ways off.

I used to dip while hunting back in the days when I smoked. I always either carried a spit bottle or put it in well in advance of arriving at my spot. I could usuallyhunt without spitting. As far as hurt or help, I always tried to play the wind, so hopefully it never made a difference.

I agree. If you swallow it's no different than your breath. There both unnatural and if the big boy can smell what your dippin then he can smell your unnatural breath as well. bigcountry do you shoot alot of booners because you don't dip. Post a few pics of what were missing. Thanks

Actually, I mainly bowhunt and yes, my success has increased 2-3 fold since I quit. It may not matter to rifle hunters, but to traditional bowhunters, we need them to be right on top of us.

Thanks for asking.
