Here is a pic my Brother in law took of a bull that met an unfortunate end on the ice over the Lochsa River last winter. They tried to retrieve the anlers, but the bull was frozen solid where he broke through.

I have seen a deer chased by a dog on to a lake the ice wasnt safe and the deer was tring to cross and it struggled till it gave up and drown.....by the time we got there it was to late.but their wasnt much we could have done anyway....the dog ran away when we tried to capture it.i think it might hane been a wild dog....anyway we reported it to the game commision i dont know if they ever located the dog or distroyed it or not.
