I spend 365 fighting for those brave men and woman that return/ed disabled. Those are the forgotten. God Bless those that never return/ed. God Bless those that return/ed with no visible scars. Unfortunately the fight goes on.

I spents last Christmas in a mess hall in Iraq and it means a lot to see people back home show their support.

Thanks to all our men and women working to preserve our freedoms. Every time I make my way into our public grounds to pursue our wild game I take a second to think of the men and women who have made this possible.

May god watch over and protect them in their endeavors.

The men and women of our armed forces are the FINEST Americans we have to offer.

I could go 10 lifetimes without ever seeing the picture of that young man accepting our flag again.

you can look all through out your history (from about 1770 on)and thank all the veterans that we dont speek a different language and that you have the freedoms you still enjoy; But most recently we should thankthe WWI &WWII wars, Korean war, Vietnam war, Desert Storm (1991), Kosovo,Afganistan, Iraq veterans and those from all the places in between that most of the average U.S. citizens never heard of. But most of all the men and women that are serving right now to keep our familys safe. i love and pray foreach andevery one of you for your safe and healthy return

Thank You!...ALL OF YOU......that have stood up for this great country, and also the brothers and sisters, friends and moms and dads that have held down the homefront while your loved ones answered the call, here is the last picture we have of my son, and one of my favorites,it was taken Christmas day 04 in Baghdad, he managed to make it home 3 mos. later, but sadly he was killed by a drunk driver 3 weeks later on April 25th 2005, I cannot begin to tell you how hard it has been, and I wouldn't if I could, that is something that I hope none of you would ever have to know for yourselves, but to those that do, my heart is with you this holiday season, be safe, be careful, and please think before you drink and drive........Steve Hartley,Proud Gold Star Father of Spc. Dustin R. Hartley(1st. Cav.)

He's the bald one. surrounded by his best brothers!
