This year deer hunting has been the worst Ive ever had at the woods i hunt in .Only seen 4-does and 4- bucks.I did get a small buck, and i have my bow tag to get a doe yet ,but my son home for a week so I'm not going out again until he heads back to Texas.

This year we saw a bunch of deer....But since I only killed 1 doe this year I wouldnt call it very succesful.....But we did see more deer than normal this year...I would say Good but not the best.....But Im leaving this Saturday to hunt a lil bit more before the season is over

Mine is over with for the year. I got a spike buck the first Illinois gun season. Took my son for his first time hunting the 2nd Illinios season and didn't get anything. Only seen 7 deer the whole weekend. Then finished up with a nice fat central Illinois doe the Illinois Muzzleloader season a week ago. So I can't complain the freezer is full.

I did shoot 2 8pts one with a ML and the other with a rifle, but my total deer seen this year has been way down. Havent seen a really good buck all, except on the game cams. 3 day gun hunt coming up after Christmas maybe things will change, but the weather doesnt look promising.

Six deer this seasonplus my daughter got her first deer - a four point buck.

Hunted alot... the most time I have ever spent and I didn't see alot of deer. About 17 during bow season and figure I saw a few of them at least twice, but I did see but could not get a shot off at 2 very good 140-150 size bucks.

Now gun season, I passed on a few small bucks and finally took a small does the last morning.

The good news is my 14yo son got his first deer (4 pt)opening morn at 6:50am. 135 yds, one shot w/ a .243

Then again, the heavy snowfalf destroyed my favorite stand area, an old apple orchard during earlybow season.

I had to say good, but not the best. I didnt see as many deer as normal, but I did tag a doe with my ML, on me first hunt ever with a ML.

Definitely the best one yet. No luck during gun season, but I put an early season doe down and a late season doe down yesterday, both with bow.

It was a good year, I was able to put 4 down including my first buck with a bow. On the other hand, we did not seeany large bucks this year. To much standing corn and warm temps in October didn't help much...

Mine was OK. Severe drought for the last couple of years restricted our antler growth. Poor nutrition meant brittle antlers, and the guys have been seeing a lot of broken tines and broken beams. Body weights are down as well. But, I got a 200 lb boar, a nice little doe, and a 9 point buck that has the 6th highest B&C score taken off our lease out of the 27 bucks taken so far this year.

Not a great one for me. This is the first year I didn't get a big game animal either caribou or elk in the past 6 years and I didn't get a buck for the first time in a while. I did get a fat doe with the smoke pole though so at least I'll be able to eat.:D

my deer season was fair...got an eight point with the 270 and a doe with the ML so theirs lots of meat in the freezer

Pretty good for me here in TN. Not the highest number of kills that I'vehad but I did killmy biggest buck yet this year, and with my bow.

Is there ever really a bad one? Just happy to be able to continue to do what I started more than 40+ years ago, hopefully for at least another 15-20.

I worked most of it so I didn't get to shoot nothing.. I did get to see a quite a few does though and we can't shoot does in this area. All in allI have to agree with crokit, as to me there is no such thing as a bad season if I had the chance to hunta few days of it. Simply put it is great just to be able to get out there..

the worse season i ever seen here in wisconsin. i saw a total of 10 deer all season thats including gun and bow season. it was just plain terrible

It aint as bad as it was last year I didnt even get to shoot but as for this year Ive taken one still not to great of a year when I used to get 5-6 a year and thats not counting what my dad would get.

Not my best season, but pretty dang close. I've gotten 5 deer ( 6 pt., 8 pt., 10 pt., and 2 does ), with one doe tag left, but don't plan on using it. I'm too busy duck hunting now anyway.

MINE SUCKS. I GOT A DOE ON OPENING WEEKEND IN NOV & HAVE NOT HIT THE FIELD AGAIN. I WAS SICK AS HELL AFTER THAT KILL & KNOW MY WIFE IS SICK, GOT TO TAKE CARE OF THE HOME FRONT. I HOPED TO HIT THE FIELD THIS WEEKEND BUT NO MY WIFE IS STILL SICK. I THINK I WILL GET A NOTHER WEEKEND OR TWO IN JAN BUT, IT'S ALL APART OF THIS THING WE LOVE CALLED HUNTING.

tough season!

I ate a Bull Elk tag, tough hunting for elk.

I shot a 9pt with my bow and 2 doe's (1 with bow, and 1 with rifle)

I usually have a bit more success. Had a lot of close calls on some really good mature bucks, but i primarily bow hunt and just couldnt get them with in range. Still have a couple days left of regular season and then 3 months of doe hunting.

Shot my largest deer yet (8pt), two smaller bucks, and a doe. This has been my best year yet as I saw deer 90% of the times I hunted. I also took my first deer with a ML this year.

I live and hunt in Wisconsin. So yeahmy season sucked.
