The 2nd Largest WI Buck Post
I do apologize for this. I seriously didn't know this buck was someone else (Chris Wood... sorry man). I go to school across the state from where I live and this guy looks like the guy from my hometown, so someone must have did this as a joke to the people in my hometown. So my appolgies!
Please don't think I did this intentionally. I was stupid to even think this buck was shot in Outagamie county, let alone by the guy stated in my post. I dont see a point in taking a picture of a buck this big and lieing about it.If anyone has an ******* sticker I can put on my forehead I will gladly take it... ![]() My dad(who doesn't hunt) forwarded this e-mail to me thinking it was him also: From: [email protected] To: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: FW: Big Freedom Buck Date: Thu, 18 Dec 2008 10:02:00 -0600 > Subject: Big Freedom Buck > > > > Attached is a picture of a buck my buddy Glenn Gonnering from Freedom, Wi. > shot > > > > this Saturday, December 6th with a muzzelloader during the muzzeloader > > > > season. > > > > He was hunting with a group of guys from Perficut Lawn Care, they were > > > > hunting in Outagamie Co. RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)
Funny, I thought deer shot in Wisconsin required a tag. My sources also identify this as the Chris Wood buck from Iowa.
|
RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)

RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)

ORIGINAL: sportsman22 One of my friends, Glenn Gonnering, from Freedom, WI harvested this 33 (scoreable) pointer on Dec 6th during the muzzle loader season. It scored 264-0/8" unofficially. Go ahead and bash about it being fake, but you're gonna waste time and internet storage space. |

That's gotta be the most beautiful rack I have ever seen!
I'm just a sucker I guess for a set of Non-Typical Antlers especially with the symetry, mass and uniqueness of this set. Thank's for posting. |

RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)
This thread does pose an interesting thought.
Why not ban jerks from this site that openly LIE in their posts and are caught at it? It's one thing to be wrong, or inaccurate, or even misleading, but caught lying or cheating needs to be addressed. Just MHO, so don't bug out. |

so who is this glenn guy that the post was supposed to be about, why do people post this crap when they haven't got a clue. do they really think the rest of the world hasn't heard about a monster like that.
|
RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)
Wouldn't you think that the sheer embarrassment of getting caught doing crap like that would make him stop posting on his own, without being banned? It would me![:'(][:'(][>:]

Good reply Sportsman22. It happens but from now on don't be so quick to judge others on credibility. It's not the end of the world, you'll be fine.

RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)
Poop happens. Just research things before you post them from now on.

RE: 2nd Largest Buck Harvested in Wisconsin (Unofficial)
