Default Nice Doe

After a very slow early season things are starting to pick up for me.I got a small button buck I thought was a doe 2 weeks earlier now now a big ol' doe.

I woke up to 13 degree weather on the opening day of late muzzleloader season. I put on every bit of clothes I had and went to the stand. Not long after daylight I see this doe and her 2 fawns coming down the trail. I stop her at 40 yards and drop her on the spot.

Very exciting hunt and I thank the Lord for letting me harvest such a beautiful animal.

Nice doe. The way the weather turned on saturday afternoon, you got her down before the wind picked up. Congrats.

You did a lot better than I did over here in East KY. I'm not sure I could have hit one if I'd seen it Sunday morning.
My tree was about to make me seasick. LOL
Congratulations on the doe.
