As you said BC, I was making a point that it's very easy to break the letter ofmany game laws. The fact that guys like stubblejumper exist and that some of them have may badges out there just reinforces the point of my first post.

if you hunt long enough and often enough you will break some law your probally not even aware of!
Probably true. I wish this poll had some more options, like:

A.) Yes, knowingly, and I will do it again.
B.) Yes, knowingly, but I try overall to be a law-abiding hunter.
C.) Yes, I have inadvertently broken some hunting laws, but only the "soft" laws
D.) Yes, once
E.) No, I have not knowingly broken any hunting laws

I see that 30% of the people voting are either lying.
Pretty naive (or stupid) comment, but your point is well made. I can say that I have never broken any hunting laws, but then again I am a hunting newbie. Yes, people make mistakes. In general, I make mistakes every day. I can see your bird/duck examples happening all of the time. That's why I broke down the "Yes - " down a few more times in my hypothetical poll. Betting a year's salary? Now that will cost you some coin, assuming you make some money. I might agree with your wager if this was confined to to active and avid hunters.

Interesting thread, and a little disappointing.

Never!...... Keeping my hunting license is one of my most important possessions second only to my integrity.
