Huge Kansas Deer.
 

My buddy just sent me this pic of this deer that was shot right around the Baldwin City are in East Cental Kansas. I think the deer was killed with a rifle but my buddy didn't say. I have another buddy whose son shot a monster right there in the same area the opening day of rifle season. I don't know anything about this buck other then it is a FREAKIN monster! I might run from a deer like this!

Thay is a huge deer, he is pretty symetrical as well except for the drop tines.

Very cool! My Mom works at a bank in Baldwin and the hunters friend brought in that pic either today or yesterday and she text'd it to me. Not gonna give any numbers but she said they took it to Cabelas and were offered a very nice chunk of change for it plus have a replica made for him. Congrats to him!!!

If I hear anything else I'll let you know. I personally do not know this guy though. But... it makes me want to get back in my stand this afternoon to get the big guy I've been after! I've got a 2nd stand about 20 yds from 3 of his scrapes and as of last Sunday I know he's still working them. Think I'll go try that one this afternoon.

Cool. Hope you get him. My buddy and I have shot our bucks this year and he is comin down this weekend so we can lay the smackdown on the does. I have the insane 10 does to every buck ratio going on so some thinning must take place!

Not today, maybe get out Saturday. Was getting ready to go and got a phone call that my gel coat was in on a boat I've been working on so I had to go get that thing sprayed instead[:@] Are you hunting Kansas? If so where at? I hunt about 5 miles north of McLouth (20 - 25 miles east of KC/Cabelas)

When I was at the shop a little while ago some guy came in and was talking about this deer. He said it was shot in the guys back yard. I guess he just looked out the window at the right time;) Like I said, its just what I heard from one of the locals.
