mossberg 695 bolt action if you can find one. fully rifled and ported barrel.

i have heard awesome things about the ithaca deer slayers
I shoot an Ithaca Deerslayer. They're awesome shooting shotguns. Mine is from the old factory, and I hear the newer ones are even better. I sight in at 150yards, and as long as I'm not having a bad day, 1-2"groups are normal. If I'm off more than that - It's just a bad day for me, not the gun.

For that amount you can get a mossberg 500 with two barrels, one rifled and one smooth.I think Cabelas was runnig a sale for $329. It will be a pump action gun, butitwill dothe trick and allow forflexibility when turkey hunting.

Federal Premium Hydroshock Sabots. Unfortunatly I haven't found them in stores lately. I need to check a gun shop and buy up a bunch. Thatour try the other sabot slugs out there. My gun seems to like Federal.
