I arrowed a deer!! but it got to dark to track! What do you think!!
I just huntedthis afternoon hunt and hit an 8 point buck with my bow. I hit mid body but back in the chest. I found half of my arrow it was covered in blood but there was not a good blood trail andI tracked for about 150 yards. It started to get dark and had to stop. The blood was dark red and had som clots in it but wasn't frothy like a lung shot. What do you think my chances of finding it the next day are. The woods are pritty thick. This would of been my first nice size buck andI feel sick about hitting a animal and it dying and not having itgoing to use. please give me you thoughts on this.

Give that buck some time and he will lay down and die. Keep in mind though, if your area is going to get rain or snow tonight, you will never find him. If not, get out there first light.
