Peanut butter
take a jar of PB unscrew the lid, nail the lid to a tree about the height of a deer. Once the lid is on the tree, screw the jar back onto the lid, and cut the bottom off of the jar of PB. The deer love it.
You can also do the same thing with a coffee can that has been cleaned out and de-scented..poke a few holes in the bottom on the can. Put some PB in there, and some maple syrup or molases , a TINY bit of watery to make it a little more watery than normal..put the lid on, and hang it from a tree..the PB mixture (if it nots too thick) will begin to slowly drip from the holes in the bottom of the can..deer will love it as well...
I've used both of these for trail cam pics in the past. Works pretty good. I usually just use the PB jar attached directly to the tree...
Just when you are done, remember to remove everything from the woods...even the nail in the tree if you can.
Post some pics if you use this set up and it works for ya?
