If I had a tag available, I wouldn't have passed on him. I wouldn't do a full body mount, but I would definately do a shoulder mount and keep the hide to have it tanned. That would be a special trophy in my eyes.

piebalds are one of the first signs of an overpopulated deer heard, around here C.O.'s encourage folks to shoot them, pics of a couple of mine

I didn't know that. Why would nature react with piebald coloring as a sign of overpopulating? Is it just in some areas or does it work that way across the country?

I def. would have takenhim! Im not sure about a full body mount but a shoulder mount would have been a gaurentee!
