deer hunting that is....
this question came up today as we were doing some last minute stand placements, its a weird question i know so let me see if i can clear it up.
easy- you shoot your deer either walking into stand or after being there only for a short amount of time
hard- you spend countless hoursin the woodsand finally get your deer
BOTH easy and hard you end up shooting the same deer
i would say hard, i feel like ive "earned" it more and just makes it seem like more of an achievement for myself. but of course i dont mind getting one in an easy fassion

I say HARD. I love it when it all comes together and all the hard work pays off. But i will never turn down EASY either.
I have shot some bucks, where i have worked my butt off, and others where i just walked in,climbed in the stand, and before my butt could hit the sit here he comes, hunt over.
Both are good, HARD is little bit more rewarding but not by much. Plus some easy hunts were because of all the hard work i did in stand placement and so on.

I have had time when deer hunting super hard in the begining. Now though I scout, put in time and work on plots and stands and during the season I have found that it is easier for you to harvest deer.
I marked hard because its due to hard work that I can harvest more and have a smoother season.

I think it's fun!
Everybody always says "I hunted hard for this one" especially on the hunting shows. It's much more of an acomplishment if it was hard. The hunt for me is fun. It's the 1/2 mile drags that are hard.[8D]

I'm not sure of the answer to this....I did hear a guy on tv once claim that a whitetail deer was probably the easiest animal to hunt and get a booner....as there are booners walking aroudn everywhere....I've hunted more for whitetails in quality areas than any other game animal, and I've yet to score on a booner, other animals I've hunted, 1st hunt, I've almost had a booner.
I would say hard, it all adds up, though the type I do is hard, if all I wanted to do was to shoot any old doe....or if i had my own land, and had it all set, maybe then it would be easy, or easier...im not sure it ever gets easy.
