Default Best Climber Stand?

Me and my dad are in the market for 2 climber stands, because our ladder stand is just too much. What are your personal favorites and why? My dad would like one that has a back rest and a shooting bar.

Just about any of the top brand name manufacturers offer excellent climbers in their better lines that will work for yall very well. The best thing to do would be to go to a cabelas, basspro,or gander mountain so that you can sit in them and compare comfort/features side by side.

Summit Goliath SS. all welded (which adds strength and eliminates any squeeks), light weight (aluminum), easy to back pack (takes less time than any other stand i have used), very comfortable (padded sling seat...not a thin cushioned metal/wood seat) and quiet when setting up (hooking) to tree's due to the rubber coated cables. i have also never had it slip or make me feel uncomfortable when i use it.

Summit Viper. Light, quiet and extremely comfortable.

Use a prusitt rope or other ascending/descending aides and you will be as safe as possible.

This question was asked a while back and the common answer was the Summit Viper. That's what I'm getting. And Summit sells all kinds of additional accessories for it.

So me and my dad went to Gander Mtn, and we saw both. My question is, what is the difference between the stands? They look almost exactly the same.
