Hopefully a buck of this caliber goes to a hunter and not road kill, wolves etc... A definite prize in any hunters mind. GREAT LOOKIN SHEDS!!!! And to find both of them....what a treat!!

If I can across those in the woods while shed hunting, I would have left them on the ground......................until I returned with a drag rope or my 4 wheeler NICE! Thanks for sharing

Didn' t realize the story didn' t go with the pic. Here is the info........

March 2003. Chris and Stephanie Potter, of Two Harbors teamed up to find this great match. These antlers look like they score 75-80 inches apiece, with excellent mass. More info to come.

Sounds like they were found, not raised. In MN I don' t think there are many pen raised deer in the north. Wouldn' t think you would want to with wolves around.

I am from manitoba, Canada, and sheds like this are easily found everywhere. One common charasteristics about Northern deer is their mass, everyting from Antler mass and size to body weight and size is larger. ex. Saskatchewan holds 12% of the boone and crockett deer in the book. happy hunting.
