I don't see anything wrong with him putting it on his wall. Wouldn't it be the same as if he found sheds and had them mounted? One of the record book non-typicals from missouri was from someone who found sheds in a field, He claimed the buck, its his.

It should be displayed, its a nice buck.

Do a European mount....still looks great, and it don't cost you a penny (if you do it yourself). I personally wouldn't actually mount one that I didn't kill, but do know some folks that have done it. I have several nice Euro mounts that have been finds. Definitely a nice deer

Now if it was a record book type deer....I would definitely consider doing a mount.
