Advertising in a completely unrelated place? Classy. In most forums that's considering hijacking a thread and warrants a ban.

RE: Tight Budget Deer Rifle

Sorry for the double-post.

I found out that using a Mosin-Nagant for hunting is illegal in the state of Kentucky. The Mosin fires 7.62x54Rmm cartridges, the R stands for rimfire. While I knew this, I did NOT know that it is illegal to possess rimfire ammunition while hunting in Kentucky. I wish they would've just stated a minimum round size or caliber, as this is obviously to prevent the use of .22lr or similar sized ammunition. [:@]

The R is for rimmed. No worries, its perfectly legal.

*sigh*

I've done enough research on the Mosin family to know that... That's embarassing. Sorry, it's late and I'm semi-working on a Civics paper.
