Default Primos "The Long Can"

Guys,
Anyone else using one of these? I received mine from Primos today and after trying it a few timesit sounded real good but it wasn't very loud at all. Does anyone use one of these cans and how did they work for you? I know deer have great hearing but man I tell you what it doesn't sound very loud at all. The call seems to be working properly, sounds good but just not very intense. If anyone has in on the new can from primos it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mack

The one I have, with the "Beaty Buck" on it, it isn't very loud. I only use it on calm day...b/c then the sound carries fairly well.

Thanks for the info guys. I will give her a try opening day. I plan on doing some rattling and grunting as well. Any pointers on how I should do my calling sequence? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This will be my first time try to call any deer and i would like to do it right.

Mack

yeah i have the hunters specialties version of the cans and i have the little (young doe) medium(adult doe) and big can(louder longer bleats). they all bring deer in well. but make sure if ur hunting an open field you have a decoy becasue ive had many deer came to ther calls but when they see no other deer they walk away. but they all work well. you can grunt a little with the cans just dont call too much

everyone i have used has never been loud...... but they can hear it ill tell ya that, me and my father were huntin in a spot one morning and we spooked 2 doe and a huge buck well that evenin we went in another holler and wasnt there 30 mins, so i asked dad if i could try the can andi did, and about 15 mins after i hit the call that huge buck came running back on to about 40 yards.... needless to say i made a poor shot with my 30-30 shot him in shoulder..we never found him...but hey it was my first big buck i had ever shot at... hope your season turns out great
