I've been hunting a big ol 8 pointerthis fall and saturday 16 of these rascals walked by. I was using a 70lb Silvertip recurve and the Stos broadhead ripped right through her, she never took a step after the shot. you never know when turkeys will show up and the hens make awesome table-fare. If your state offers fall tags for turkey it adds I'd make sure to get one.

I considered buying mine here in Ohio. Unfortunatly my county doesn't have fall turkey season.

Saw a bunch last year but I've yet to have them in bow range. Hopefully in the future they will get more plentyfull and they will open the season.

swt, I didnt see him that day but we have had a hell of a battle all season long. hes a old buck on the decline when it comes to his rack, but hes a wise old bird. he spotted me in early sept and he looks at that tree everytime hes makes his rounds in that area. If I dont get a shot at him it will stillbe one of my best seasons. I'm going to lay off of him until after the rutt and hope he makes it through it. I think he will, if the old rascal takes over 5 steps he has his nose in the air, I guess thats how hes stayed around so long. thanks for asking.
