got one yesterday evening, not what i expected....
 

this is embarrassing. i was hunting yesterday afternoon over a food plot. three bucks had just came out together, a six point, an eight point, and a nice wide ten. i was raising my rifle to get on the ten point, but forgot my cell phone was in my lap. it fell and managed to hit every single rung on the aluminum ladder. of course, all the bucks scattered. the ten and the eight ran in the same direction, and i quickly got on the ten point and fired. he dropped in his tracks. needless to say, i was pumped. i half ran across the field and when i got to him, i started cussing up and down. i shot the wrong buck! [&o]in the heat of the moment when they all took off i thought i was on the big ten, but in reality i had shot the eight point. anyway just thought i'd share to give a few of you a laugh. heres a pic of his rack, bad pic but i was alone and had to take it with my phone. laugh away everybody.

i'm not laughing, that's a good buck and meat in the freezer. now you can focus on getting the big 10!

Don't be ashamed of that deer!Why would anybody laugh at that?Looks like a descent 8pt to me,i'd be glad to shoot that buck.If i was embarassed of it,i do't think i would have posted it.Good deer!

I would of shot that sucker any day, but i do understand why you would be upset if there was a bigger one that you meant to shoot. Either way that is a nice buck. Congrats.

Congrats on a nice buck ,i would have shot him myself but all i see is 7pts unless i'm not seeing the other point.
