Default Irion Co Texas buck

I could have arrowed does with ease but a buddy took this 8 point that was a pig when it comes to weight! We are in fair shape but when it came to dragging this one we earned it,we figured he had to go near 190 on the hoof and had a layer of fat from stem to stern like a hog!Not a bad buck for the country...across the hiway from where we were they have year round protien program and this boy must have come to wrong side of the tracks!

Your right he does owe me...I skinned the skull out and by midnight it was ready to drop in poroxide and let dry! We boiled it that evening so it doesn't lack much to be mounted! He did feed me some fresh backstrap that night.
