SC 8pt down w/ pics
Make a long story short, took a buddy this am to the hunt club (called the office and told em i had an early meeting). in the stand by 6:05 sitting in a large 4 post stand looking over a huge cornfield. 300+ yards wide by 900+ yards long. at 7:19 nice 8pt came trottin on wide side of field running up a hedge row. pulled the .300 Jarrett W/ the Ziess Diavari, scoped it in, as soon as it stopped, dropped the hammer and knocked him stone cold at 300 yards and change. as soon as this guy hit the ground, another 8pt was trailing coming out of the same cutout. I reloaded, tracked this guy for 15 yards while he was at a slow trot, he saw the dead buck and took off into the trees. figured ill get him this weekend. Happy with the deer, not a bad rack for SC deer.
