Sat all day Saturday seeing a few does and even a couple 3.5 year old 8 pointers chasing does around my stand. At 6:00 pm this 10 point snuck in behind me at 80 yards making a scrape. Theres bigger buck on our farm but I just couldnt resist making this guy my first blackpowder buck. Made a good shot and he went straight down, and in typical bowhunter fashion I scoped myself. I think I actually bled more than the deer..[:'(]As I was was driving the 4-wheeler to pick him up I drove right past 4 different shooters (all 150 or better) that just stood and watched me haul the deer out. Never seen so much action during a full moon. Anyways he's pushing 140 gross and Im happy with him. Now time to fill my Indiana tag!
