RE: THE REAL obama
let me just start out by saying that if obama does get elected, the democrats and anti gun lobby will own all of washington. Right now the dem's have the house and the senate and are controlled by some of the most extreme left wing.
So don't assume your gun rights will be okay. That would be quite stupid to assume that. Don't forget, obama (if elected) will be picking 2 or 3 supreme court justices as well. |
RE: THE REAL obama
ORIGINAL: CarpetBagger The only thing i dont agree with Obama on is his stand on gun control.... McCain thinks health care costs 5800 bucks a year on average...He wants to Tax Health Care... Ive pretty much come to the conclusion that if you vote republican then you are extremely wealthy (and i understand that), racist (were not all perfect), a gun advocate (i cant see how a vote can hang on 1 issue like this),or just extremely stupid (the majority).... Even the extremely wealthy who were scared of the last democrat to threaten their money i have one question for you...Hows your money doing these days??? Hows all those lucrative investments treating you??? Hows those real estate investments panning out??? Hows your interest rates??? Obama is condemmed for having a socialist view of our economy, while McCain wants to buy up banks bad housing loans...Its the same damn thing. When the middle class has money they spend it. Joe the plumber is an idiot and will never make $250,000 a year no matter how many toilets he lifts or sewers he snakes. I have been in business for over 10 years with my father and he has been in business for over 35 and we arent broke yet. I can assure you we as small business owners paying 1,200 a month (each)in hospitalization for our familiesare not voting for a republican... Sarah Palin is the poorest excuse of a politician i have ever seen. Her husband was a member of AIP which was an organization in Alaska lobbying to make Alaska its own country....Thats a patroit right there...Its all spin...John McCain is a robot and his wife has more botox in her head than Cher... Everyone is worried about Obama taking your money....Everybody has been taking my money for the past 8 years. Oil Companies, Grocery Stores, Theres no interest in banking, ect...What exactly is gonna change...I would gladly give money to the government in taxes if i knew that it would help the good of the country and maybe start a program to help your kids become better educated, or build a car that runs on water.....Your money isnt really safe no matter who is in office... let me remind you of something Oil = NO ENERGY plan. When the dem's have control they don't pass meaningful policies. We could be drilling now for oil and gas would have never hit $4 a barrel. It's simple supply and demand. Look what is happening now? demand is down and so are prices... And if you think things can't get worse, think again. Do you think obama is going to lower your grocery bill ??? WTF????? you will be paying more. More taxes, more capital gains, more everything. It will get much worse under obama. His has already purposed 1 TRILLION DOLLARS in new spending. and somehow you think he is the savior?? again, WTF.. .will you please learn what this guy is about? the free market is what makes this economy what it is. Sharing the wealth has NEVER worked in the history of this world. .ITs been tried. It's failed each time. Socialism in a time of economic crisis is the stupidiest thing you can do. And if you are looking for someone to blame for this mess look no further than clinton and the CRA. Look at barney frank, chris Dodd etc.... The same asswholes are patting one another on the back for the 700 billion dollar bail out when they had a big piece of blocking regulation going all the way back to 2003, and again in 2005 when Bush and others in the pub party brought it up. Its the simple facts my friend. here, this is from the NYTIMES in 1999, please read this and it will explain the situation. In a move that could help increase home ownership rates among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans that it will purchase from banks and other lenders. The action, which will begin as a pilot program involving 24 banks in 15 markets -- including the New York metropolitan region -- will encourage those banks to extend home mortgages to individuals whose credit is generally not good enough to qualify for conventional loans. Fannie Mae officials say they hope to make it a nationwide program by next spring. Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits. In addition, banks, thrift institutions and mortgage companies have been pressing Fannie Mae to help them make more loans to so-called subprime borrowers. These borrowers whose incomes, credit ratings and savings are not good enough to qualify for conventional loans, can only get loans from finance companies that charge much higher interest rates -- anywhere from three to four percentage points higher than conventional loans. ''Fannie Mae has expanded home ownership for millions of families in the 1990's by reducing down payment requirements,'' said Franklin D. Raines, Fannie Mae's chairman and chief executive officer. ''Yet there remain too many borrowers whose credit is just a notch below what our underwriting has required who have been relegated to paying significantly higher mortgage rates in the so-called subprime market.'' Demographic information on these borrowers is sketchy. But at least one study indicates that 18 percent of the loans in the subprime market went to black borrowers, compared to 5 per cent of loans in the conventional loan market. In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980's. ''From the perspective of many people, including me, this is another thrift industry growing up around us,'' said Peter Wallison a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. ''If they fail, the government will have to step up and bail them out the way it stepped up and bailed out the thrift industry.'' |

RE: THE REAL obama
Barack Obama received a presidential endorsement from theBrady Campaign. As the most anti-gun presidential nominee in history and he certainly deserves the endorsement of one of the most outspoken anti-gun organizations in the country.
this iswhat theBrady Campaign has to say about Obama http://www.bradycampaign.org http://www.gunbanobama.com/ |
RE: THE REAL obama
k from this website http://www.bradycampaign.org/
The Obama-Biden ticket will work with law enforcement, gun violence victims, and all those who want to do more to protect themselves, their families, and their communities from gun violence. seems to me that the best way to protect myself is with my own weapons???? The Brady report notes that Senator Barack Obama said in his convention acceptance speech that we should keep assault weapons out of the hands of criminals. Senator John McCain has opposed a ban on assault weapons. who exactly does he consider a criminal??? |
