Default tree stands

How high do you go. I am uses to tree ladders 12-15 but with climbers you could go higher does it help any?

then if using cover sent like buck bomb do you spray when you get up to the height you hunt at or just the ground or both?
thanks for your advice.

I use a climber and Im usually 18- 20 feet at the foot, thats usually as high as I can get before the bigger limbs prevent me from getting higher. Ive been busted as high as 30 feet up and got away w/ being 14 feet up ,depends on the back drop and cover around you.

I use 15 foot ladder stands. When using a cover scent you want to use it as you walk to your stand. If usingother scents to attract deer to your stand area, then you can disperse them from the ground or from your stand...

If thats true, then how do people get deer from a blind? I use cover scent and go up between 15 and 20 feet. Anything higher and I'm not real comfortable.
