deer attractants
 
has anyone had any positive results w/ comere deer or any other sure fire bring a deer to you attractants?

yep, it comes in fifty pound bags full of small yellow kernels. or as we call it down here,golden acorns. :Djust joking, i've never really got into the whole attractant thing, but i know a few guys that use stuff like that. from what i've heard the deer around here won't really mess with c'mere deer, but most people i know use deer cane, supposedly they tear that up. hope that helps

try taking a goat that's in heat into the woods with you and tie her up to a tree 10 yards from your stand:D

It brings them to the area, it doesn't bring them to you......They usually are at it from night to day break.

I have found the best luck with apple scented or acorn scented attractants. BuckStop makes some good stuff. Have had deer follow a scent trail right to me, or close enough. When a bucks ruttin', doe in heat products or dominate buck scents grab their attention. Something with tarsal gland in the mix. What do you think?
