Love my Summit Viper. Quiet, light, and easy to switch to facing the tree, rather than back to it. Good bite itno the bark also.

I've hunted with many others, including Summit, and it AIN'T even close.

Who makes the Equalizer?

Nobody uses the Lone Wolf? I heard they were the best.

Best climbing stand in the world. Bar none.

I still dig my Lone Wolf....if anything, for the customer service and overall performance. Pricy but worth every penny.

I also have the Goliath SS. I can't imagine a stand being any more sturdy than this one. It's wider than most and sometimes gets hung up while walking thru tight cover but the comfort in the tree makes it worth while.

I had a Lone Wolf sit-n-climb stand last year.....one of the lightest on the market at under 20# but was just not comfortable at all for me while in the tree. I couldn't wait to get another Summit. Should have never sold my 180.

I have several different brands and types. My favorite has to be the Summit Viper.....quiet, light and sturdy.

Just got done looking at the Equalizer website. It looks like a knock-off of the summit. Few things changed but pretty similar.
Looks like a nice stand though.

I'm not sure how you get that. With the Equalizer you can face the tree, adjust for diminishing tree diameter and as well as having a locking system for each part of the stand.

The only reason I'd take another climber stand is if I could resell it to buy an Equalizer! Sad but true.

API-cant beat em, and make sure u get the welded one and not the others, cuz they creak and squeak alot...and also make sure you get a chain and not a rubber/leather strap one, chains are much better

Finally..Lone Wolf, man go on a Michigan Forum and that's the favorite..
