First of all, you need to find an area that contains a good number of bucks, then figure out where they are wintering. Secondly, you need to get out and walk, walk, and walk some more. Try to concentrate on forage areas. I' m not sure when you are from, but here where I live the deer feed on creeping cedar; a plant that stays green all winter. You can also look in their bedding areas, as they do feed there as well. Hope this helps.
