I finally put down a deer during archery season this year. Its been a pretty frusterating season up till now. I have had such disapointments. Even with all my practice at the range, I still misjudeged ranges on a lot of deers only to miss them either a hair length above their backs or have my arrows drop right infront of their feet. I even hit one doe but never found her....that was just heart breaking. However, I finally went backout tonight. I saw this doe and a few other deer in the mountains munching on some straw. The shot was true and she was down. In a few weeks I'll have jerky in my freezer. wooowoo.
