How old is this Buck & Score??
 

Just curious what age you might think this buck is, and score. Isit a shooter?

Shooter. Probably depends on your own goals, age 3/12-4 at best, score 135-40ish I would say, if you want monsters on your land he needs another year

3 1/2 to 4 1/2. 140's.

He's a shooter around here. He will probably develop more mass and possibly, better tine length. I'd guess he'd max out in the 150's.

He actully looks a little young. 2, or three. Very nice deer, I would take him.. If you want giants tho you might wanna let him walk for another year. But somebody else may get him before then.

Don't know where you're hunting,but if it's in the midwest,I'd definately say that is a 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 year old buck. Long sweeping neck,and not to stout through the chest. He'll probably be a sure enough pig next year......He looks like 138 right now.

easily a 3 1/2 year old, i would put him 140-150, depends on how good his mass is. Let him go if you think he'll make it.

I think the close up pic is fooloing some. 8 point buck , looks like the main beams are on the shorter side. Id say 125 inch 3 year old. Nice buck , shoot him if you want him , its not up to us.

Thanks for the feedback. A lot of you wanted to know where I hunted. I hunt in South Central Michigan near Jackson. Again thanks for your feedback I agree with most of your scoring. With regards to the deer being a shooter. I guess it all comes down to ones oppurtunities, past success, and personal goals. Thanks.

These scores seem so high to me this buck is no where close to 140-150. I have a 133 hanging right next to me and im certain its bigger in every way. But i wouldnt pass him up.

He's a shooter, and im guessing mid 130 range.But like it was said before, it depends on your own personal goal(s).

I would consider that a trophy and shoot him. He looks mature enough and spread outside ears, nice mass. But each hunter has his/her own idea of what constitutes a trophy. If you think it is worthy of mounting, then take him.
