Any tips or suggestions on how to hunt swampy public ground? I recently graduated from college and had to move to a new area, so i will be primarily hunting on local public ground since my traditional hunting ground will be to far away to drive to. But anyway's the some of the ground i'm looking at is next to a river and floods fairly often so any suggestions?

i know in arkansas a lot of public land closes to deer hunting when it floods..but if it doesnt close where u are at..look for bits of dry land around the flooded areas for the deer to be at..feeding bedding etc..big bucks do tend to move to swampy flooded land when hunting pressure gets high..because of less hunting pressure in these areas..

If you can afford this DVD it's well worth it!!!
I hunt in NH and can relate to a lot of their information even though they are primarily Wisconsin hunts.

Waders are a real good idea.
I don't know how hard the area gets hit, but public land can get real busy. You might think about using acanoe or other boat to access the area from another direction, and also to separate yourself from the crowds.
