Still a few bucks running with their headgear here. I' ve seen a few bucks carry their racks into April and drop as early as the middle of December. This is the time to be looking though or your competition will find them or the tree rats will wreck them as it doesn' t take squirrels very long to chew up a shed. Congrats on your 4pt shed and Goodluck finding more.

I didn' t see any deer today but I did see twenty some bull elk that still had thier horns . I would have thought they would have shed by this time but that was not the case . I don' t remember ever seeing them this late before .

halcon, I know that both the elk and deer here went into their rut pretty late, possibly because the weather stayed warmer than usual. Maybe they' re still a bit behind?
