Yeah I would have used a big shovel for that snake. Once in awhile I'll find snakes in the horse pastureflattened from the horses and they kinda look like the one you have in your hand but I don't think so, not in WI.

Yikes. I see a lot of snakes in the woods (usually right under my feet) but never a rattler yet. That pic will definitely have me watching where I step, and looking forward to cold weather.

There are a bunch of them where I hunt. When I'm hunting, I am hoping to run across one. Fried Rattlesnake is a treat. That one there looks mighty tasty. Sorry, but I don't care for the boots, but they look nice on you.

that is a nice size snake. this is why i've been wearing snake boots for years whether i'm scouting or hunting.
