Default Kentucky hunters

I am going to bowhunt pennyrile nov 8th-15th, I have never been there so any help on a starting point for scouting would be greatly appreciated. I have some maps a topo and a color map and a gps. I would love to scout a full day then start hunting for the rest, so a area to hone in on would be great to save time.
Thanks, Jason.

I'm not sure if Pennyrile is open to gun hunting but that is opening week of modern gun season. Higginson-Henry WMA is close to there and is bow only. We go there every year and some of the guys from here went out there last year in Sept. I will check to see if it is open for gun hunting and get back with you here.

I hunt out there when I get draw ed for the quota hunt every year or two. I have been hunting there the past 15 years on quota hunt and it is tuff hunting. I killed a buck for the first time there last year 17 inch inside and it was the first buck big enough to shot in all those years. I would hunt around the golf course. I have see a lot of deer cross the road there. there is a gravel road that goes from the nursery around past the golf course I would startlooking around down in there
