It's a rock mined from colorado or somewhere. Salt and other minerals. Works great even when its gone. It dissolves into the dirt and the deer just keep going for it. You can get it at Cabelas. Heres a pic of 1 I put out earlier this year.

Ive also bought them from Gander Mt. I've heard lots of good things about them. I just set some in front ofmy trail cams last weekend.I think it's mined in Utah, but I'm also not for sure.
