I put the powder out one year, and really didn't notice much activity that season. I did put it out late though. The following year, I hunted the same spot and there was a nice hole in the ground. I watched quite a few deer licking and pawing at the dirt in that hole.

I think it's good stuff.

If you are waiting this late to put it out you are pretty much wasting your time. You need to get it out in spring so they will use it all summer into early fall. Any salt lick starts dieing out later in the year.
