Im new to WesternColorado and trying to find some good techniques to hunt mainly mule deer this year in this area, I will get to Elk hunting next year. Do I hunt with tree stand or is it better to stalk? Any input would be great its alot different hunting here conpaired to Florida whitetail and hog hunting

Default RE: how to?

never hunted in Colorado or mulies for that matter. however, from what i've seen and read, spot and stalk is the preferred method. get some good glass and glass the area at a distance for mulies that are bedded or moving to and from bedding/feeding area's and stalk them using the wind to your advantage.
