Default Gun Oils

what is the best gun oil for exterior applications? i have been using Remoil but noticed it ain't worth a crap. i wipe down and clean all my firearms after i use them or carry them on a hunt. yesterday i noticed rust residue on one of my stainless rifles while performing a trigger job. i know for a fact i wiped it down heavily with Remoil the last time i handled it. any suggestions on long lasting protection?

Tetra gun makes the best oil and grease if you can find it anywhere. The grease is great for internal parts because you rub it in then wipe it off, no residue to attract dirt.

I've had good luck with break free as well. I use spray silicone before I store them for any long periods. Doesn't seem to collect as much dust either

I like the generic 3 in 1 oil you can pick up for $2.00 at Home Depot. It works amazing
