RE: Hunting Lease ?
North florida, Club is60,000 acres. Itsabout 2.5 dollars an acre. I couldn't ever imagine paying over 4-5 an acre. Mostresidents around herefrequently complain about how high club dues are- I guess it is all in supply and demand?13 years ago the paper company lethunters onover 400,000 acres for40 dollars a year. Now the vast acreage is split into 4 hunting clubs

RE: Hunting Lease ?
Lafayette county lease: 12,700 acres/50 hunters@1000 dollars each=3.93 dollars and acre
Broward county lease: 1,100 acre/14 hunters@33,000 dollars each=420 dollars an acre
I guess in Florida it all has to do with location.
btw I have the top lease and sure as hell can not afford the second one but it does make ya think about buying some land to lease down south.

I don't lease, and never will.Leasing is the cancer of huntingandit only gets worse with each passing year.If you can afford to leaseyou can afford to buy, and in the end it will be all yours.

RE: Hunting Lease ?
I lease a 80 acre piece in south central Wisconsin. Of which 35 acres is woods/marsh and the other 45 is field. Marginal hunting land, but I don't have to put up with any other hunters. Another plus is,the neighbor does not hunt. I pay $450 a calender year for it.
