Is it worth going out shed hunting tomarrow. I'm going to my farm in northern missouri and its 20 degrees with mud and slushy snow on the ground. . . . . . ..

I don't know, sittin back and killing animals in front of the T.V. then
Eating a BBQ Prime Rib steak and having a glass of Gibsons
sounds like a better alternative to me...

The reason i posted this is to ask if most bucks have dropped because a week and a half ago i spotted four bucks with both sides still on

I would say 90%-95% of the bucks have lost their antlers

I disagree, all my cameras (13) are still getting pics of bucks with head gear. However, I was getting pics of bucks late Dec that had dropped.

It has been one screwed up year here in Missouri to say the least...one guy I know found some rubs and scrapes made 2 weeks ago, some deer have dropped their antlers while others still have theirs intact! You can always do a little scouting and checking for any area's where the deer are crossing or heavy trails in the snow while your looking for sheds! The weather has been crazy with warm weather a few days, then freezing rain, sleet and snow and even lightening and thunder while it is sleeting?I think the Rut was very late this past Nov. Deer Season and the 2nd Rut was even later than december, possibly into jan.?
