Awesome story! I can see that one being told over and overagain. I'd beas proud as can be of theboy!

I would take the disclaimer off. If people can't handle a dead deer picture, they shouldn't be on this forum!!!

Congrats, but... 10 year old, knocked off his chair, in a blind, with a semi-auto shotgun.... Sounds scary/dangerous.

Congrats to your cousin.

Please teach him to shoot at the vitals, if he had missed the same amount left he would have blown off the deer's snout and it wouldn't been as good a day. You missa few incheslittle left in the rib cage you still bring home the deer.

10 yrs old with a shotgun at 185 yards taking a head shot, very glad it turned out the way it did.

My thoughts as well.
Me too, but i just feel that you should have told him to wait for you, to make sure it was a safe and ethical shot, congrats on your cousin though...

Sure looked like he hit the vitals. Is he really that good of a shot or was it luck? With a shotgun you just dont hold right on a deer head and hit it at that range...unless it is really sighted in high at 100 yards.
