thirsty deer
Could someone describe a thirsty deer? David used a deer panting for water in the Psalms and I would just like to have an image of it from a hunter that may know what makes the difference in the thirst of a deer than any other animal! ty

RE: thirsty deer
My Guess would be, a Deer Pants is no different than a Dog IF he is really thirsty. I have heard guys tell about their Dogd chasining Deer and they get Hot and have their Toung out. I don't think their is a Mistery there. JMHO

RE: thirsty deer
I had a doe run by me on a drive, toungue out and panting...... I sat really still and it passed me at about 7 yards, went fifteen yards away and bedded down till the drivers got closer..... it was panting. In the psalms I think you could replace it with say a dog, but a deer is just more of a nice animal I think haha...... point is, like that animal pants for water, your soul should also long for God
