is there anywhere in Iowa where anonresidentcould draw a deer archery tag without any preference points? I would like to hunt public land and have a decent chance at a nicebuck. thanks

You are not going to draw an archery tag without a preference point. Most zones it will take at least two points. My advice is to start buying points this year, and start researching places to hunt.

yeah its hard to draw tags without points. although we do everywhere. we hunt in unit four and have gone for the past 10 years. four of us go and hunt public land and havea ball
