Would you hunt out of this? I usually don't but I will with the kids.

This is a homemade blind my stepdad built. This is just the latest addition to many.

Here it is in the field.

here it is in the building process and showing how it works.

Some of you may remember me posting these some time back.

I would love to hunt out something like that. I'm getting older and don't care for the rain and cold as much anymore. Seems to me thats a nice set, I'd have it at the edge of a tree line to break up the outline of it though.

It looks like it could be a little small for more than one person. I would prefer a blind to be at least 10' off the ground to the floor and I would also back it into the edge of the woods and put a couple of tie downs on it. Nice looking stand, it looks like it would be easy to move.

Looks great if the deer are used to it... Seems like the deer around here would silhouette (sp?) you easily.

It is 10 " off the ground and I believe it is tied down.It is big enough for an adult and a kid but not anymore.

For rifle hunting,it isn't necessary to back it out of the field, the deer cross the field regardless, lets face it,you are NOT going to hide something this big from deer.

This blind produces more deer than any of the others.Set right in the field.

I'd have to say, if I could get that to St. Regis Mt. in the Adirondacks, I would definitly hunt from it. Sweet looking stand!!
