I see the bucks that come into my yard all the time and they still have thier antlers . I was checking the elk out last week and saw seventeen bulls that still had thier horns so it looks like it will be awhile longer .There is a elk refuge where you can see them just about anytime you go by there .

I was out over the weekend looking in ND and didn't find any. I even heard reports of bucks chasing fawns yet. For ND, that seems really late for that kind of activity. Hopefully they will start dropping their antlers in the next couple weeks.

Shedman I live in Oregon ,So far this year it hasn't been very cold but the deer don't usually start shedding until the last part of this month . The elk I was looking at are about ten miles inland from the ocean and it never gets real cold where thier at . I was talking to my daughter she lives in Columbus Ga she said it was pretty cold there . Just different climates I guess .

Not sure if they dropped yet in Connecticut, was out trailing what I am pretty sure is a big 8 Point in fresh snow I saw earlier this year
and no luck but I know his trails by heart and feel like I will get his antlers on the ground or on his head next season.
