what to do
this year i went out for the first time on a couple of occasions. between 4-5 guys we only saw two does on the first mornign of the hunt. the next time out it snowed and there were tracks all over but no deer in sight. i was thinking of planting some food plots but was wondering what would do well in the albany region of new york. also i remember reading about some type of mix(maybe deer cociane not sure?) a substance that you pour into a hole 6-7 inches deep and cover back upthat attracts deer like crazy. also other recommendations are appreciated.

RE: what to do
The biggest thing is to put your time in outdoors, you will learn the best lessons that way.....
For northern deer the best food plot I have seen is Alfalfa or clover....you can try baits and attractants but with the limited use of such gimmicks they still tend to be nocturnal.... |
