I picked GM on the poll since I am hunting with a 1997 z-71 at the moment. But I would have to say any older model (2002 and back) that is reliable. It is also easier to load a deer intoa trailer so if I had one I'd take it as well.

I just boughtthis 2002 Chevy Silverado extended cab 1500 series 4x4 and it's super clean, with 56,000 miles. One owner, garage kept. I love it! Santa was good to me.
