Remington 700xcr 270wsm's first deer
Yesterday started are late doe season and I had drawn a tag. This year was usingmy new Remington 700xcr in 270wsm. Have a new Burris Euro-Diamond 2.5x10x44mm with the Ballistic Plex reticle. Scope mounting system is Warne bases and rings. Using factory 150gr. Winchester Power point ammo. I was glassing alot of mule deer. Seen a group of 8 does with a large lead doe. Started out at 458yds. then partner and I sneaked to a lasered 298yds. I snapped on the Stoney Point Rapid kneeling by-pod and cranked the scope up to 10x. Put the 300yd. Ballistic Plex mark behind her front shoulder dead center and touched the trigger. Heard the great sound of a whop after the gun went off. She staggered 30yds. and fell over. I doubled lunged her. A complete pass through. I am very happy with this combo.

2007 Doe Hunt with the new Remington model 700xcr in 270wsm. One shot kill at a lasered 298yds. Using factory 150gr. Winchester PowerPoint ammo that is chronographed 3200fps. out of my gun.
